Position Title Electronic Warfare Technician I
United States of America - Arizona
Performs systems maintenance and operations. Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions. Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits; repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. Operates system under supervision. Receives technical guidance, as required from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked for accuracy. Performs organization and intermediate-level repair when supervised. Performs corrosion control on equipment/towers. Cross-trained and qualified to operate at least one additional EW system. Documents maintenance actions in IEMS. Reports to Assigned Senior Technician or Supervisor
High school diploma or equivalent.
Formal classroom education equivalent to Navy “C” School or vocational school with formal training in the field of electronic equipment maintenance and equipment manufacturer training. Two years of formal technical training may be substituted for two years of experience.
Two years’ experience involved in four or more of the following electronic maintenance:
Digital/analog signal processing Synchro-servo circuits
Radar and radar theory
Video signal processing and recording Communications (multiplexer equipment)
Digital/analog computer systems
High Voltage power supplies
RF signal processing
Low-voltage AC equipment Auto-transfer (UPS) equipment
Required Certifications: Must maintain current RF Radiation Awareness certification, current COMSEC certification, maintain Laser Safety Certification.
Ability to speak, read, and write
Must possess a valid state issued driver's license.
Must possess and maintain a DoD security clearance.
be required to obtain and maintain a valid state Commercial Driver’s License. .
Current CPR/First Aid certification desired.
